PUTTING THE WORK N!!!!
About Me
Hey guys! I am a native Washingtonian, wife & mother of two. My story is much like most women who have struggled to regain their body, love-of-self, and emotional confidence while going through life’s challenges. Eating became my biggest comfort in dealing with these challenges, and little by little 100 extra pounds of guilt and shame became my newest reality.
My wake-up call was looking in the mirror and not recognizing the person staring back at me, nor being familiar with the pain & illnesses associated with this new body. I had become a different person, but I knew, deep down inside, that I loved myself more than the stranger I had become. By the grace of God, consistency, and determination, I crawled out of depression and into a life filled with rejuvenation and purpose through healthy eating and daily exercise. Heal the mind and the body will follow! Tap into your emotional center and you'll discover the TRUE Beauty N YOU!

Taebo is soooo worth the trip. I started this class in February of this year at a size 20 and now I am a 14. The workout environment is very comfortable and embracing. Taking advantage of the Cycle 2 was a benefit for me also. My body is the proof honey!!!!
Being committed and staying focused on all of the challenges necessary to complete Cycle 3 will be one of my biggest challenges. Discipline, determination and much self-control is required of me to regain my body back to reality and good health. I have lost 9 lbs. since starting and working hard in Tae Bo class since March 2009.

Hello All,
I started this Taebo Journey on January 5, 2009 and to date I have lost 33 lbs. During my first class, I realized that exercising was not going to be easy and so I was ready to throw in the towel and fade back into my comfort zone of being complacent and lazy. Now close to 7 months and dropping 2 dress sizes later, I am all smiles. During Cycle 1, the fat burning cycle I lost 22 lbs, just by consistently attending Lisa’s classes 3x’s a week and sticking to a healthy portioned controlled diet. During Cycle 2, the toning and tightening cycle, I lost another 11 lbs, by consistently attending Lisa’s classes 3x’s a week and eating regular food but realistically. With Cycle 2, I have noticed that I am stronger and more defined; I have slimmed down and lost inches. Subtle changes; but necessary on this journey. I have already got more results than what I had originally limited myself to receive.
:D
Hello family,
Im proud to say that I am one of Taebos original participants.IN the beginning I was afraid of going to the gym fearful that I could not do the excerises and being tagged a failure. But,Lisa has a unique quality of making you feel that you are worth it and yes you can do it.I will do it with you she always say. When the challenges begin, it sparked a new level of will and determination in myself. Its so exciting to see the changes, not only with my body but my mind and soul.I believe her words of wisdom are equally important helping me reach my goals.I truly need it. Lastly,I currently weigh 154IBS, before Taebo I was 198IBS.You do the math.So for all you doubters out there, have no fear get yourself in gear and lets continue "to put the work in"
YESS!!! && I AM READY TNT HERE WE COME HONEY!!!
I started classes May 2009. I don't know how much I weigh, but I am down 2 dress sizes. The work you put into the class is worth every bit. You just have to keep at it and believe. I AM A BELIEVER. You have to give it a try. Thank you Lisa for your love and words of encouragement.

I started tae bo with Lisa in February 2009. The class is tough but the results (from putting in the work) tell it all: I've lost over 10lbs; toned up those ugly back rolls; and toned up those love handles from my waist. I feel physically stronger and that I can meet challenges head on. As an extra bonus, I've made quite a few new friends. Stick with it; it's coming.
Hello,I just started today and I was very reluctant. I am 190lbs today and although this class was hard, oh I'm going back. I am determined after seeing the others in her class and she is just awesome. She is the word inspiration to me.
Hey Fam!
I'll start by saying THANK YOU to you all. For me the most beneficial thing that the cycles have done was assisted me with remaining consistent. Knowing that you are coming to "meet" with such a dedicated, welcoming, inspirational, and most importantly results oriented group keeps me coming. I for one still struggle with the concept of enjoying exercise. I am still at the "exercise because I have to phase" and am working to transition to exercising because of enjoyment. As for results? I would say that I've lost tremendously in the area of inches. My body has transformed! Paaallease don't make me strip in that class ya'll. That's the only way you can truly see my results..otherwise you'll have to take my word for it! LOL! And last but most important..the Lisa...I can't put into words how your enthusiasm and sheer attitude helps me with my "struggle". :) Love you ALL!
