WHO'S IN YOUR CORNER

Have you ever seen a boxing match? In a heavy weight fight there are 12 to 15 rounds in a title fight. The two contenders in the fight are in the best shape possible to sustain the many blows to the body and head they will receive. Their preparation and training play a major part in how well they hold up throughout the duration of 15 rounds.

How well one spiritually, mentally & physically conditions themselves are so important for the process. Many months are spent fine tuning, loosing extra weight, eating right, condition & circuit training...studying their opponents strengths and weaknesses, also spiritually getting in sink with their inner being.

Once in the ring on fight night, all of these area's should be in harmony one to another....In a fight such as this, there will be scoring and many rounds will be won or lost by the amount of punches that connect or land on their opponent.

What every fighter needs is good personnel in their corner....One full of knowledge of boxing, understanding in the area of strategics and wisdom & insight to coach the athlete out of any difficulty they may find themselves in during the fight.......

If the trainers and fighter really know one another well, instructions will be easy to follow...however, if there is no cohesiveness between the two....it will be a long night for that corner. If communication is faulty, the corner could possible throw in the towel forefiting the continuation of the fight at the slightest since of trouble.....Your corner should know how much their fighter can endure, from the many month of training he went through. Your corner should know the heart of the fighter, strengths and weaknesses. Your corner should have confidence that you can beat anyone you step in the ring with....If not, maybe you have the wrong folks in your corner....

All of us need the right personnel in our corner supporting us, speaking the truth in love even if the truth hurts.

For those of you who have taken my class, our paths have crossed for a reason. Some of you have continued to attend class, because you have found something good about the supporting staff all around you in class that offer, encouragement, friendship and a loving family atmosphere.... The class works for you because every good thing you need in your corner you've found in the leader. The spirit and influence of the leader will be present on the student they teach. A leader can only impart what is inside of them....demeanor, personable nature, skills, motivation and genuine interest in the development of others.

When these things are firing on all cylinders it thrives in the hearts of the students....
When you as students are on display demonstrating all you've learned & mastered...that is a very proud moment for all those involved with your personal development. There is always a team behind a successful person who helped groom or train them in some capacity. Those connections are vital for a favorable outcome...Recognizing what is important to you, should help you make an informed decision regarding who you allow in your corner....

This week the ALL YOU troops rallied around me and made me so proud to be an Instructor. I exchanged places with you and entered the ring center stage to be recognized for the love, support & training given to everyone each session...I was surprised...slightly overwhelmed and certainly touched by the measure of love coming at me all at once...I never gave much thought to the amount of time and energy that goes into presenting a quality workout weekly...I just do it, because I believe in everyone that comes through the studio doors....The time spent with all of you is enriching and if doing what I love, gets you the result you want...then my work has not been in vain.

While in the ring, I found myself on my back looking up at the ceiling dazed from the loving blow I was hit with...then I rolled over and made my way back to my feet...because the troops were in my corner cheering & rooting for me to finish the fight ...Y'all know my heart, my level of strength and wiliness to fight to protect whats been entrusted to me....Y'all also know, whatever I do for you will be my best...and at the end of the contest there is only one thing anyone can say....Lisa went out fighting clear thru the 15 round on heart, determination and love.......

I'm a blessed woman to have all of you in my
corner..........So let me ask you one more time.

WHO'S IN YOUR CORNER pulling for you?
